Join us Thursday March 2nd @ 1:00pm on the Bluestone Terrace to begin a walk to locate bird habitats in the Woodland Trails. Phil from Wold Birds Unlimited, Woodhaven, will lead the tour. No cost, all are welcome.

Common feedstocks include agricultural residues, wood chips, and organic waste. The oil contains a complex mixture of oxygenated hydrocarbons, water, and various organic compounds, making it chemically distinct from petroleum-based fuels. Pyrolysis oil is considered a promising renewable energy source, especially in efforts to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions. It can be used for heat and power generation and, with further upgrading, as a feedstock for producing transportation fuels and valuable chemicals.
