About the Event
Kick off National Pollinator Week (June 21- 27) and help raise public awareness of the importance of bees and other pollinators that are needed to produce 80 percent of our flowering plants and one third of our human food crops. This event will be held rain or shine. No need to RSVP. Free and open to the general public. Fun and fellowship for all ages. Great opportunity to learn the benefits of Pollinators and how to help protect their habitats and the environment in general. Kids craft stations, take-home seed planting, scavenger hunt and garden stroll. All are welcome! Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon at our beautiful venue. Activities begin at 11:00am and will continue until 1:00pm. The venue will be open to the public until dusk.
