Rose Tea

Kick off National Pollinator Week with a delightful Rose Fairy Tea. $30 per person includes tea, 2 specialty drink tickets, boxed lunch, chance to win a door prize, and guided tours of the Gardens. Guided small-group tours of the Gardens will begin at 2:00pm.

About the Event

Kick off National Pollinator Week (June 22-28) with a delightful Rose Fairy Tea. Wear your favorite hat to enter a prize drawing. Register online or call 888.383.4108. Registration closes Friday June 19th. Social distancing will be practiced. 12:30pm doors open. 1:00pm opening remarks and food served. $30 per person includes tea, 2 specialty drink tickets, boxed lunch, chance to win a door prize, and guided tours of the Gardens. Guided small-group tours of the Gardens will begin at 2:00pm: 

Butterfly Wing Tour - Meet on the Bluestone Terrace to explore the Butterfly Wing, The Vinery, Front Beds, Heart Garden and Hornbeam Promenade then on to the Masco Pavilion to visit the Woodland Garden and learn a bit about our new Cottonwood Trail. This tour is designed for walking on even surfaces, in short distances with breaks.

Rose Tour - Meet in front of the structure to explore our abundant variety of rose bushes spanning over one acre then continue with the Buterfly Wing Tour. 

Woodland Area Tour - Meet under the Masco Pavilion to begin a journey through the Woodland Garden and perimeter of the Cottonwood Trail including a fairy check at our newly developing Cottonwood Corner. The stroll will end with a tour of the Butterfly Wing, Bluestone Terrace and Heart Garden. Bring your flat shoes for this walk!

Cottonwood Corner Tour - Meet on the Grand Lawn donning your sturdy shoes to explore the Cottonwood Trails. Thanks to the GMAR (Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors) Placemaking Grant awarded to the Taylor Conservatory Foundation in May, we are able to upgrade our paths and develop the wooded area adjacent to the Petting Farm with walkable trails. This tour will span our entire seven acres including the magestic White Pines.
