About the Event
Hands on service project - calling all volunteers, students groups, community service workers, and friends of the Taylor Conservatory! The Taylor Conservatory and Botanical Gardens received a generous donation from Sam's Club in Southgate to fulfill a dream of filling the flower beds with early blooming spring accents. Over 2,000 bulbs will be planted on November 5th between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Garden knowledge is not required, we will help direct as needed. Bring gloves, water, snacks and a garden hat or visor in case the sun is out. Note: If you would like to help but aren't available this date we will also plant on Tuesday November 8th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm followed by a bonfire to celebrate the Blood Moon from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
