Aster Tea - 100th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote

In July 1848, Jane Hunt hosted a tea party that would change our world. Ms. Hunt and four of her friends shared thoughts and ideas over social hour which launched the women's suffrage movement. In August 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified giving U.S. women the right to vote. Join us in the Gardens September 27th as we celebrate this 100th anniversary at the Aster Tea. The Taylor Conservatory Foundation is excited to announce that we have allowed our Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens to be used by the City of Taylor for part of the Taylor Winterfest Blizzard of Oz.

Beginning approximately November 5, our site will be closed off with temporary fencing to permit the set-up for this wonderful holiday event.

See https://taylorwinterfest.com for ticket information.  We expect the temporary fencing to be removed in mid-January.

POWER IN COMMUNITY

Whether you want to get your hands in the dirt, or stay clean and help out in our office, or a little of both, we have lots of things to do in the gardens and office.

We need volunteers of all skill levels!
