Good Thymes is Back! May 21st

We are pleased to offer the second annual Good Thymes in the Gardens educational workshop in conjuction with the Good Thymes Vendor Market at our beautiful venue on May 21st. Classes will be held at the Conservatory and include a birding tour and hands-on mushroom workshop. All class times are between 10:00 am and 1:00pm. $10 donation covers the entrire three hour duration with 10 minute breaks betwen each segment. You are welcome to attend one, two or all three of the classes.

“Birding Talk & Tour” presented by Natalie Cypher of Department of Natural Resources

"Growing Mushrooms in the Garden" presented by resident gardener Matt LaFleur

"Plants in the Moonlight" by Sabrina Deschamps, Community Outreach Interpreter – Science Project Facilitator, CIG; Huron-Clinton Metro Parks

Description: Why do we garden by the Moon? Do the phases of the Moon affect plant growth? Join me as we take a closer look at the ancient practice of lunar gardening. We’ll discover a variety of night blooming plants and ways to create your own Moon garden at home!
